If I knew then what I know now.

I thought about that recently while playing soccer.
One of our recent games was one of the best matches I've ever played in. It wasn't about skill or goals. It was just one of *those* great games.
And it was about knowing what I know now, and using it. I know the corners are where the two lines meet but I likely no longer have the speed to get there faster than the next guy.
Instead of speed, I'm relying on something my opponent doesn't have - a few years more experience (and hopefully, skill).
I'm excited that in 10-ish more years, I'll be thinking about the same thing.
Hopefully after another great game.
