If you haven’t read (or heard) of Longform, you should take a look. The podcasts are excellent. So why care about a publication that seems to be going in the opposite direction of today’s trends (see previous post)?
- Their content is super good.
- What we’re starting to realize is that people won’t pay for breaking news or short clips of repetitive “news”. Instead, it’s the longer, insightful pieces that folks like you and me are ready to put our money where our clicks are.
- Maybe these guys are onto something when it comes to advertising, distribution, etc.
