“When we eventually did get it we were so exhausted from chasing that we couldn’t do anything with it,”

Having possession – whether it be in soccer, basketball, or business – is a positive thing. It allows you to better control what comes next and in sport, it gives you a much better percentage of scoring.

In basketball, we marvel when each player on the court touches the ball before a team makes a basket. In football, whichever team wins the battle-of-position has a better chance of winning.

Watching the tiki-taka style of Spain is anything but boring, and being a part of it / defending it is pure joy / frustration.

So, my guess is that it’s just you.
