Chromium - A Nice Addition
I’ve been using Google Chromium on the Mac for a few weeks now. I really like it – it’s fast, it’s open, and includes some handy extensions. In fact, I’m able to do most of my communication/interactivity straight through Chromium – which is a terrific sign of things to come.
Yes, there are a few drawbacks:
- Some sites don’t work with Chromium (yet)
- It can be a bit buggy (it’s a working beta)
- It’s limited on the Mac (compared to Windows)

So far so good. I do hook into Chrome now and then when Chromium doesn’t seem to be working. Even then, the transition is so smooth, it’s not a problem.
